#Haryana departments told to follow #NGT`s orders

GURGAON: Chief secretary D S Dhesi on Thursday directed the administrative secretaries of the state environment, urban and local bodies and town and country planning departments to submit suggestions to mitigate air pollution to the NGT as demanded by it in its April 13 order. The NGT had invited measures from authorities to prevent and control air pollution in the city and restore ambient air quality. These orders were passed in conjunction to earlier orders including the ban of construction work on Golf Course road, cap on number of vehicles to be registered in Delhi-NCR, deciding the age of vehicles that will be permitted to run in Delhi and imposition of higher vehicle registration charges for families that have more than one vehicle.
