#Haryana seeks Badarpur-Qutub Minar metro link by 2018

With a view to provide smooth metro connectivity between Faridabad and Gurgaon, the Haryana Government has requested Union Ministry of Urban Development to construct the metro link between Qutub Minar and Badarpur station by year 2018.The State Government has also urged to provide a spur on this line which may pass through the inhabited areas of northern Faridabad in Haryana starting from Surajkund and connect to an appropriate metro station located on Delhi-Faridabad route. While chairing a review meeting of various schemes for Faridabad, the Chief Minister Manohar Lal asked the officers to send a delegation to Mumbai for study of Mumbai model to make it slum free.
