Health Awareness Drive Empowers Students at Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls’ School

Greater Noida News (08/02/2026): A comprehensive health awareness and hygiene education program was successfully conducted at Kasturba Gandhi Residential Girls’ School, Chitehra, with the aim of empowering adolescent girls through knowledge, confidence, and self-care practices. The initiative was organized by Consortium Gifts as part of its ongoing commitment to social responsibility in the areas of health and education.
The program focused on raising awareness about girls’ health, personal hygiene, and menstrual well-being. Students were educated on essential topics such as menstrual hygiene management, physical self-care, methods to cope with abdominal discomfort, and the importance of breaking long-standing social myths associated with menstruation. To support practical learning, sanitary napkins and other health-related materials were distributed among the students.
Addressing the students, Saumya Singh, HR Executive at Consortium Gifts, delivered an informative and interactive session, encouraging open discussion and emphasizing the importance of understanding one’s body without fear or hesitation. Her session aimed to foster confidence and self-reliance among the girls by normalizing conversations around menstrual health.
Gulshan Kumar, PR Assistant at Consortium Gifts, was also present during the program and actively interacted with the students. He motivated the girls to prioritize their health and education, highlighting the role of awareness in shaping a confident and independent future.
The program was conducted under the guidance of the Basic Education Officer, Rahul Panwar, and the leadership of Vinay Kumar Singh, District Coordinator (Girls’ Education). Significant support was extended by Archana Pandey, Assistant Teacher at Composite School Parthala Khanjarpur and Nodal Officer, Bisrakh Girls’ Education, whose coordination played a key role in the smooth execution of the initiative.
The event received wholehearted cooperation from the school administration, including wardens Afsana and Anju, along with the entire school staff. Their collective efforts ensured the program’s success and meaningful engagement with the students.
