Home Alone actor makes fun of Disney’s plan of rebooting the movie
New Delhi: Home Alone actor Macaulay Culkin does not seem to like the idea of turning the classic comedy movie into a TV series. After Disney made the announcement about rebooting the movie for Disney + on Wednesday, the actor took to Instagram to share his viewpoint by sharing a picture of himself on the couch in the underpants, having fast food and binge-watching. He wrote the caption, “This is what an updated Home Alone would actually look like.”
Macaulay had played the main lead character of the boy Kevin, who manages to stay safe while being all alone in his home, in 1990. The news was not well received by movie fans, they too mocked the idea of revamping classic movies in the modern era. “I would totally watch this over whatever crap they’re going to come up with,” wrote a fan. “I mean, would you even bother defending your house while you’re this relaxed,” wrote another.
