Home Minister Rajnath Singh to attend the second convocation ceremony of NIU.

Greater Noida (24/02/2019) : Home Minister Rajnath Singh will attend the second convocation ceremony at Noida International University as a chief guest. The ceremony is going to be held on February 26. On the occasion 40 students will be awarded Ph.D. degrees, while 58 will bag the Gold medals and 16 will have M.Phil degrees.

Eminent personalities like Valentina Lerna, Academic Head, Embassy of Italy, Jozef Drofenik, Ambassador of Slovenia and Vijay Garg, President, Council of Architecture will also grace the occasion.



Dr. Vikram Singh, Pro Chancellor of the university, while Interacting with media said that “university is very grateful to the Union Home Minister. It will be a proud moment for our students to receive degrees from the Home Minister itself as he is not only one of the most honored politicians among all political parties, but he has also made a strong impact on the hearts of the people through his profound glory and work when he was the Chief Minister and Education Minister of the state.

During the press conference held in the university premises Vikram Singh announced to implement the traits like love for the nation, culture preservation and accountability towards society. Discipline is must and university also aims to achieve the same objective.

Thakur Jaivir Singh, Founding father of University & Ex. Minister, Rajkumari Chauhan, President, Maruti Education Trust & Ex. M.P, Dr. Arvind Singh, Chancellor of the University, Dr. Devesh Singh, Chairman, NIU and Abhimanyu Singh, Sr. Trustee MET will also grace the occasion.

Prof. R.D Sharma, Vice Chancellor of the university also said on the occasion that to honor 40 students with PhDs and 16 with M.Phil degrees is evidence that university aims towards time bound research because through research only India can re-gain its position of Vishwa Guru.
