Mumbai (Maharashtra), 20th February 2023: Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan will start filming for the sequel of War- an addition to Aditya Chopra’s spy universe. The actor will return as the beloved Kabir and commence shooting for the action movie.
‘War 2’ writers Sridhar Raghavan and Adi have completed the script and will be soon filming with Hrithik starring as the super spy ‘Kabir’. The movie will start filming early next year and will be an add on to the the Aditya Chopra’s spy universe which includes the blockbuster ‘Pathaan’.
The Shah Rukh Khan starrer, ‘Pathaan’ has proven to be a mega-blockbuster movie, banking over ₹500 crores and is set to cross ₹1000 crore in domestic theatres.
The spy universe includes Pathaan, the Tiger movie starring Salman Khan and War starring Hrithik Roshan. There might be a possible crossover in the movies. In a viral moment Salman Khan made a cameo appearance in Pathaan, a strategic move to promote his upcoming movie Tiger 3.
The plot of the next action thriller movie, ‘War’ is not being disclosed but it has been confirmed that Hrithik will return as the lead in the movie.
