I.T.S. Engineering College organized the Faculty Development Program followed by Performance Award

 

I.T.S. Engineering College, one of the Premier Institutions in the field of Engineering and Management Education organized the Faculty Development Program followed by Performance Award 2014 for the faculty.

I.T.S. Engineering College, in a short span of time has grown from strength to strength and is counted among the best engineering colleges in Northern India. It is engaged in bold and forward-thinking innovations to renew, re-imagine and re-invent contexts for teaching and learning to develop a new education  paradigm.

The Computer Science Department of ITS Engineering College organized the Guest lecture on “Exploring Research Paradigm in Computer Science & Engineering” to facilitate imparting knowledge in the relevant field based on modern techniques.

The program initiated with the Welcome address by HOD –CSE , Dr. Shailesh Tiwari and bouquet presentation by Director Dr. Vineet Kansal, Greater Noida. to our honorable guests Prof. Sri.Bohitesh Mishra, Chief Technical Officer (CTO) Mothersonsumi India  and Dr. Mukesh Mohania, Senior Scientist IBM Research Lab, New Delhi

Prof. Sri.Bohitesh Mishra, Chief Technical Officer (CTO) Mothersonsumi India motivated that the students in this competitive world have to work hard and gain knowledge on research and modern techniques through internet and they should be encouraged in more usage of internet to update themselves. He deliberated on topic “A Road map of IT industry for next 5 years.

Dr. Mukesh Mohania, Sr. Scientist, IBM Research Lab, India enlightened on the newer techniques and researches done in the computer science and engineering &emphasized that the students besides their academic curriculum , be also informed of the prerequisites of the companies in field of IT and computers.

This was followed by welcome and speech of Dr. M. Balakrishnan, Professor CSED, IIT, Delhi. He apprised on research projects and issues faced by CSE graduates.

In the next session of program , a warm welcome and bouquet presentation by Director – I.T.S Engineering College, Greater Noida.Dr. Vineet  Kansal to our Hon’ble Chief Guest Prof R.K. Khandal, Vice Chancellor Uttar Pradesh Technical University.  Prof R.K. Khandal, Vice Chancellor Uttar Pradesh Technical University concluded the program by his speech. He stated that today’s time is of research and competition, each day there are new inventions of modern techniques in field of computer , Information and Broadcasting. It is very important that these new modern techniques and research results are to be apprised to the aspiring engineering students through the faculty.

 

 

Director Dr.Vineet Kansal was in agreement to the above and also emphasized that ITS Engineering College has always made endeavors to inculcate the new modern techniques of imparting education through new paradigms and stated that no student is ever successful in his life without the support , backing of his faculty , his guru.

It is very prestigious for ITS Engineering College faculty participants to have such Dignified and very Humble , Unassuming  Knowledgeable people and to grasp their views and visions.

 

 

The Director Dr. Vineet Kansal extended his gratitude and invited  Prof R.K. Khandal, Vice Chancellor Uttar Pradesh Technical University , Chairman Dr. R.P. Chaddha and Secretary, ITS Education Group Mr. B.K. Arora to  felicitate the faculties doing commendable contribution to engineering and management education in ITS Engg. College.

The following 22 faculty members were selected for special performance recognition awards, who have demonstrated sustained excellence in all phases of faculty performance related to teaching, research, and service.Documented evidence, including student and peer evaluations, of outstanding classroom teaching performance, have been the basis of selection. There was a marked improvement in results of 2013-14.

Dr. R.P. Chaddha asserted that ITS Engineering College have always strived to have a good relationship between faculty and students to work together to make the course worthwhile and realize the importance of healthy relationship , or else the learning is diminished. He also emphasized that students could resolve their study matters through their faculty support.
