IEC Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized blood donation camp

IEC Group of Institutions, Greater Noida organized blood donation camp in association with Rotary Club, Indirapuram on 29-02-16 at Greater Noida campus. Inaugural session was started at 10.00 AM in which large number of students and faculty members were present. Director Dr. D.B. Singh explained the importance of blood and motivated the students for this social cause. He also told that blood donors are life savers of the society. IECians are regularly working for noble causes and apart from the academics we have to organize these kind of noble activities for the awareness among the students. A team of 25 members from Rotary International came to the campus to organize the camp in pleasant manner. Camp was coordinated by the Sh. Satish Singhal , Charman Noida Blood Bank, Sh Subhash Jain, Chairman COER and DGND, Ghaziabad, Sh Deepak Gupta, Rotarians Mr. Dheeraj, Sh. Sunil Gautam and Mr. Madhur Gupta of Rotary Club, Indirapuram.Students and faculty members were highly motivated for the camp and 590 students registered themselves for this social cause. After the checkup by the Doctors team 450 students, faculty & staff were found eligible for blood donation. Coordinator Mr. Sharad Maheshwari given vote of thanx to all HOD’s, Faculty and student coordinators of each department for the successful event.
