IHE 2022: These new-gen robots are ready to replace waiters in restaurants, cafes, watch here

Greater Noida (03/08/2022): In a recent interview taken by Ten News at IHE 2022, Mr. Aditya Kukar from Dekho Network tells us about their latest innovation- Robots.

Autonomous service robots which can perform real employee functions.

Dekho Network, based in Jaipur, was established in 2015, with a wide range of 500+ products in the digital and IT category.

When asked about his products, Mr. Kukar introduced ‘RoboCop’ which is used in the Cyber Crime Branch(Delhi) for its facial recognition capability. Also known as the Policing Robot. Next up was Ruby Robo, a magnetic strip robot, which is used in restaurants for food serving.

Another interesting product was Dolley-The Trolley Robot which can be used for picking up equipment in hospitals and restaurants.

Among other latest products were Spidy Robot, Mogambo Robot, and Iglu Robot- all of which can be used in restaurants.

On being asked about the navigation system used in these robots, Mr.Kukar noted that a map has be to created and personalized for every robot which is installed in its brain with specific commands.

A high-end autonomous robot called Serving Bot is the highlight of their product line. It has three trays, can charge on its own, and has a map installed for the directions. It can be used in restaurants, hospitals, and offices.

When inquired about the general guidance systems used in robots, Mr.Kukar remarked that each robot has a specific function like facial recognition, serving food, delivering medicines etc, and has to be designed accordingly. He also says that it is a very high demand product and expects to attract alot of people during the expo.

A demo was also shown to us by Mr.Kukar wherein the destination is punched into the robot and it automatically moves in the desired direction and also has alerts for any interruptions in its way. This technology is used in restaurants in Delhi, Jaipur, Kerela, etc.
