IIMM Greater Noida Hosts National Seminar on Supply Chain Management with Professionals

Greater Noida News (31 August 2026): The Greater Noida Branch of the Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM) successfully organised a National Seminar on Supply Chain Management on August 30, bringing together around 170 professionals, industry leaders, corporate representatives and experts from across India.
The seminar focused on emerging challenges and opportunities in supply chain management, with a special emphasis on Arbitration, Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Supply Chains, Circular Economy, and Legal Aspects of Contracts. The event featured insightful sessions by experienced speakers, who offered participants practical perspectives on how businesses can strengthen supply chain efficiency, adopt emerging technologies, manage contractual risks and move towards sustainable operational models.
Industry Professionals Participate from Across India
The seminar witnessed participation from professionals associated with a wide range of industries and organisations, including PDIL, BHEL, EIL, Nippon, Bechtel, Samsung, Honda Cars, Ericsson, Haier, India Audit & Accounts, IGL, Semac, BEL, Vobiz AI, Pace Resources, Vividh Packaging, Tally, Oracle and Supreme Court advocates, among others.

Professionals travelled from several cities, including Bengaluru, Ahmedabad, Bilaspur, Ranchi, Ayodhya, Raebareli, Kanpur, Lucknow, Alwar, Chandigarh, Ludhiana and Delhi, reflecting the growing interest in contemporary supply chain practices and professional knowledge-sharing platforms. A significant number of participants were professionals working across Greater Noida, Noida, Ghaziabad and Delhi-NCR.
Industry Associations and Corporate Leaders Attend
Representatives of several prominent industry associations also participated in the programme. These included Laghu Udyog Bharati, Noida Entrepreneurs Association (NEA), Indian Industries Association (IIA), Uttar Pradesh Corrugated Box Manufacturers Association (UPCBMA), Ghaziabad Management Association (GMA), Association of Indian Manufacturers (AIM), India Business Association (IBA) and EAI.
The programme also brought together promoters, directors and senior representatives from various corporates and MSMEs, creating an opportunity for participants to exchange views on industry challenges, technological developments and evolving business practices.

Focus on AI, Sustainability and Contract Management
The technical sessions addressed some of the most relevant issues confronting businesses today. Discussions on AI in supply chain management explored the growing role of technology in improving decision-making, forecasting, efficiency and operational coordination. The session on circular economy highlighted the importance of resource optimisation, sustainability and responsible business practices.
Experts also discussed arbitration and legal provisions related to contracts, offering valuable insights into dispute resolution, contractual obligations and risk management for businesses operating in complex commercial environments.
Leadership and Organising Team
The programme was conducted under the chairmanship of K.P. Singh, Promoter of Vividh Packaging, whose leadership contributed to the successful organisation of the seminar. CA Ageet Kumar served as the master of ceremonies and conducted the proceedings in a professional and engaging manner.

The organising and management team included Dr. Suresh Sharma, Sorabh Sharma, Ranveer Kumar, Anuj Bhargava, Vipin Agnihotri, Vishal Chauhan, Deepika and Ajay Sharma, who worked together to ensure the smooth execution of the event.
