India capable of delivering a robust response at the borders, says Army Chief

New Delhi (India), May 31, 2023: Addressing the BrahMos User Meet 2023, Indian Army Chief General Manoj Pande stated that the country is prepared for deterrence and a muscular response if necessary.

Accompanied by Indian Air Force Chief Marshal VR Chaudhari, he emphasised that the country is at the helm of significant transformational changes, allowing the nation to witness the growing stature and history in the making regarding the international environment and higher expectations from the world community.

He added that the unsettled border issues and security challenges become essential to India’s case and that the measures taken by the government to ensure its security allows India to ‘not just stand deterrence but also to respond robustly when required.’

According to the report, Air Force Chief Air Marshal VR Chaudhari, further highlighted the role of the BrahMos supersonic missile has galvanised India’s weaponry. He added that the BrahMos missile had increased the deterrence value of the IAF by leaps and bounds.
