Greater Noida (06/08/2019) : The second edition of India International Hospitality Expo (IHE) will be the biggest hospitality expo event in South Asia till date with its astounding line up of trade discussions, conferences, gastronomic demonstrations, master classes, awards night and more.
The 4-day exposition will be held from 7-10 August 2019 at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida Expressway. Rakesh Kumar, Chairman, India Expo Centre & Mart made an official announcement in the press conference about the start of one-of a kind event in Delhi NCR.
The four-day long event will witness the biggest exposition spread over 28,000 sqm of exhibition space, and it is expected over 20,000 business visitors. This makes IHE 19 the biggest hospitality exposition in South Asia expanding its reach targeting 650 exhibitors displaying an array of products and services including many from abroad such as Vietnam, Indonesia, Peru, El Salvador, Ecuador and others.
IHE 2019 being one of the biggest platform promises to be the bigger, better and grander by having speakers from across the world and MSME company owners from North East showcasing their work as part of Make in India initiative. Also a robust conference programme with top hospitality professionals as speakers, a series of Masterclasses by world-renowned chefs from India and abroad, wine sommelier training by a renowned Italian sommelier, a hospitality-inspired fashion show and an FSSAI conclave on Food Safety – IHE’ 19 offers the most expensive hospitality platform with stimulating knowledge sessions and a great networking opportunity for its participants.
Speaking about IHE 2019 Rakesh Kumar, Chairman, India Expo Centre & Mart said “Himachal Pradesh is the ‘Focus State’ at the Expo with a number of events being organised by the Tourism Department of the Government of Himachal Pradesh and Himachal Tourism Development Corporation. Celebrity Chef Manjit Gill will be presenting Himachali cuisine along with Chef Nand Lal Sharma of Himachal Tourism at three special occasions during the Expo, namely the IHE Awards Dinner, the international Gourmet Safari and culinary masterclass.”
Praising the government decision of scraping article 370 he said “this will be a quantum jump for the hospitality industry as well as bring new opportunities for Entrepreneurs”
He also detailed important highlights of the 4 day expo like Young Chef Culinary Competition being held under the aegis of ICF IIID mock up rooms, design competition and conference, Technology Conclave on the last day under the aegis of GHTP and HTNG, Conclave on Hospitality and Bed Making Competition by PHA, PPFI Connect meant for B2B meetings, Food Safety Conclave by FSSAI, Start up mentorship and Pitch session by Indian Angel Network, IHE Mixology Challenge by Scope Bev and ICF etc.
The event will also witness Celebrity Indonesian chef Gupta Sitorus, Kevindra Soemantri, Yuda Bustara and Primo Rizky. It will be a gala celebration of hospitality sector and the organizers will be giving away first IHE hospitality awards to more than 70 hospitality professionals from across India.
