India International Hospitality Expo 2022 approved under ODOP scheme, here’s how exhibitors will benefit

July 22, 2022, Greater Noida – The 5th edition of India International Hospitality Expo-IHE 2022 is scheduled to be organised from 03-06 August 2022 at India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Noida. IHE is one of the largest and most influential expos that showcase products, services, and technology for the hospitality, food, and food service industries in India.  The last IHE exhibitions and events were the watershed moment for the entire food and hospitality industry. The sector which caters to about 7.5% contribution to the GDP, creating employment opportunities for more than 25 million people and growing at a faster pace, had brought all stakeholders together under one roof in the most organized and sophisticated manner.

In a short span of time, the IHE has now become a landmark sourcing hub for the hospitality, food, and food service industry in India to interact, exchange value propositions, business, and ultimately a support system value chain for all businesses verticals in the industry. With the Government of India’s firm resolve, the Nation is now ready to tread on the path of growth, resurgence, and glory.

The IHE-22 is supported by leading industry associations like All India Food Processors Association, The Hotel and Restaurant Equipment Manufacturers Association, Association of Resource Companies for Hospitality Industry of India, Export Promotion Council for Handicrafts (EPCH), National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC), Purchase Professionals Forum of India, Hospitality Purchase Managers Forum (HPMF).

The IHE 2022 will have a mix of events such as Masterclasses by acclaimed Chefs, Mixology, conference, and knowledge-sharing Interaction with leading stalwarts of the food and hospitality industry besides participating exhibitors.

Dr. Rakesh Kumar Chairman-IEML informed that the Government of Uttar Pradesh has approved India International Hospitality ExpoIHE 2022 under its One District One Product (ODOP) scheme entitling the exhibitors participating in the fair to reimbursement of Stall Charges 75% upto a maximum of Rs.1,50,000/-; 75% of the charges upto a maximum of Rs.7,500/- towards Freight Charges from the production unit to the Fair/exhibition and to & from fare of A/c 3 tier or A/c Bus for one representative exhibitor.  Dr. Kumar thanked the Government of UP for this gesture and hoped that with this initiative there will be larger participation of the exhibitor from the State of UP resulting in enhanced business opportunities for them and leading to employment generation.
