This life-saving innovation comes at a crucial time when the world is grappling with a shortage of ventilators due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The team of students, consisting of Shashikant, Harshit Gaur, Aliya Shahin, and Srishti Yadav, dedicated countless hours to designing and building the Savior under the expert guidance of their mentor, Dr. Mohammad Shahid.
Their remarkable creation incorporates various cutting-edge features that make it a vital asset in critical healthcare settings. One of the standout capabilities of Savior is its ability to measure electrocardiogram (ECG) signals, providing real-time monitoring of a patient’s heart activity. This feature enables healthcare professionals to closely monitor the patient’s cardiovascular health while undergoing ventilation.
Additionally, the ventilator includes a temperature measurement function, which allows medical staff to track any fluctuations in the patient’s body temperature, a crucial parameter in managing critical illnesses.
The Savior ventilator stands out with its multiple oxygen level control, enabling healthcare providers to adjust and regulate the oxygen supply according to the patient’s specific requirements.
