J&K team visits Noida varsity, hostel expels 2

A day after Kashmiri students protested against alleged harassment by other students at Noida International University, J&K CM Omar Abdullah on Monday sent senior IAS officer Lokash Kumar Jha, the state’s principal resident commissioner in Delhi, on a fact-finding visit.

Jha was part of a three-member committee-the two others being Sunil Dutt, SSP, CID cell, of the J&K government and Aizar Ahmad, DSP, CID cell-that visited the university and met Kashmiri students.
