Kajol Takes a Break From Social Media, says ‘Facing one of the Toughest Trials of my life’

New Delhi (09/06/2023): Kajol surprised her followers when she revealed on Friday afternoon that she will be taking a sabbatical from social media. Kajol announced the news on Instagram and Twitter. The actress removed all of her Instagram posts.

Kajol also posted a note that read, “Facing one of the toughest trials of my life.” Along with this the caption of the post said, “Taking a break from social media.”

Kajol did not explain why she made this decision, but many speculated that it might be to promote her next web sitcom, ‘The Good Wife’. Director P Malhotra also commented, “When is the good wife trailer out.”

However others were concerned and asked her to return to social media. A fan responded to Kajol’s Instagram post by writing, “I don’t know what happened that made you make such a decision, but know that we, the fans, love you and we miss your captions and beautiful posts, We wish you the best.”

Another fan wrote, “hope that the break does you great good and I wish you the very best as you navigate the tough parts of life. Prayers and love.”

Fans will definitely miss the actress. Kajol frequently uploaded selfies, photoshoots, and random thoughts on social media, providing admirers with a glimpse into her personal life.

On the work front, the teaser for Kajol’s ‘Lust Stories 2’ was recently revealed. Amit Ravindernath Sharma, Konkona Sensharma, R Balki, and Sujoy Ghosh directed the film, which also stars Neena Gupta, Vijay Varma, Tamannaah Bhatia, and Mrunal Thakur.

Kajol is also working on the upcoming online series ‘The Good Wife’, an Indian adaptation of the American courtroom drama with the same name. Suparn Verma directed the film, which will be available on Disney+ Hotstar.
