Kangana opens up on her marriage, relationship with father at Panga Promotion in Delhi

New Delhi : One of the most awaited films of the year, Ashwiny Iyer Tiwari’s directorial Panga is all set to hit theatres on 24th January 2020 starring Kangana Ranaut, Jassi Gill, Richa Chadda and Neena Gupta.

The sports drama follows the life of a forgotten kabaddi world champion who gets another chance to live her dream.

Kangana and the whole starcast have been busy on a promotional spree for the film and are leaving no stone unturned to make it a success.Today the team Panga reached Nation capital and promoted their movie.

Answering a question on her marriage, she told “I am at a phase when I am just beginning to enjoy my life. If someone can add to it, I’m fine, but if, as a woman, I am expected to ensure he’s emotionally stable, enhance his spiritual growth, be lucky and bring him financial windfalls and take on the responsibility of a home, children and family, then, I’m not up for that. At the moment, I have no time for people who come with any kind of baggage.”

“When it comes to casting, I go by my gut feeling and their ability to perform. Whether it is Swara, Richa and Kangana, undoubtedly they are brilliant actresses. As a film director I see the character in them on screen, and that is important for me to get rather than what their political opinions are.” Said the Director.

“If, as a director I constantly have to think about how they are as an individuals off the screen, I won’t be able to create a character and extract a performance out of them on screen” she further added.

Punjabi singer turned actor opened up about his experience of working with Kangana and said, “People usually ask me if Kangana misbehaved with me during the shoot. I simply tell them that she made me comfortable while shooting scenes with her, people do not trust me. In fact, it was an interesting experience, and I was very comfortable working with her.”
