  • BJP’s MadanlalKhurana had resigned as CM in 1998 which was exemplary; Kejriwal must step down until he’s given clean chit in the #2CroreBribeScandal: Goel

08May, New Delhi Union Minister of Youth Affairs & Sports Vijay Goel today slammed Kejriwal for his hyprocrisy and suggested that the Delhi CM must resign until he gets a clean chit in the allegations levelled at him regarding acceptance of a 2 crore bribe.

Goel said, “The allegations levelled at Kejriwal are not by any political group or party but by his own Cabinet Minister who was removed. Was Kapil Sharma removed because he questioned Kejriwal’s ulterior motives?”

Goel also raised querywhether the amount accepted by Kejriwal from Satyendar Jain was black money from Jain’s “hawala” or “benami deals”. It is to be noted that no leader from AAP has pointed fingers on the CM and that too with such a serious allegation. Goel reiterated the fact that a thorough investigation must follow to check these allegations. Report also suggest that Kapil Mishra has submitted documents to the Anti-Corruption Bureau to support his stand.

Goel further stated that in 1998 Delhi CM MadanlalKhurana had tendered his resignation on an issue and stated that he would not continue until he gets clean chit. “Kejriwal has no moral authority to continue as CM and muist resign till a thorough probe is conducted”.

Delhi’s Water Resource and Tourism Minister Kapil Mishra on Sunday had alleged that he saw Delhi CM Kejriwal accepting a bribe worth 2crore in cash from controversial figure and Health Minister of Delhi Satyendar Jain which prompted people across political parties to demand Kejriwal’s resignation and investigation to check such dubious deals.
