“Mata Ki Chowki” Organized at I.T.S Dental College, Hospital & Research Centre, Greater Noida

As per the tradition of I.T.S – the Education Group Mata Ki Chowki was organized at I.T.S Dental College, Hospital & Research Centre, Greater Noida on Saturday, 22nd September 2017 to mark the commencement of the academic session of the 12th batch of B.D.S & 6th batch of  M.D.S students.

The occasion was graced by the presence of Hon. Chairman of I.T.S – The Education Group, Dr. R.P Chadha accompanied by Mrs. Meera Chadha and The Vice- Chairmen Mr. Sohil Chadha and Mr. Arpit Chadha. The occasion was also marked by the presence of Hon. Secretary Mr. B. K. Arora, Director –Principal Prof (Dr.) Akshay Bhargava, Director – Administrations Mr Vijay Sharma and  Director- Public Relations Mr. S. Sood. The ceremony of “Akhand Jyoti Prajawalan” was done by the auspicious hands of Dr. R.P Chadha, and Mrs. Meera Chadha. This was followed by Bhajans & Jhankis.

All the faculty and staff members and students of I.T.S Dental College, Greater Noida along with their family members attended the occasion to seek the blessings of the Almighty. The chowki began with an invocation mantra of Sri Ganesh Aarti and prayer to Maa Durga who is an embodiment of the divine energy and creative powers.

There was a musical orchestra which sang bhajans in praise of Goddess Durga and a beautiful dance was performed to enchant the audience present. The positivity in the atmosphere could be felt as all were engrossed in the religious ceremony.

Mr Sohil Chadha , Vice Chairmantold that it has been an old tradition at I.T.S – The Education group to organize Mata Ki Chowki after commencement of the New Academic session in their every Institution.

Dr Akshay Bhargava, Director- Principal mentioned that I.T.S Dental College, Greater Noida is one of the leading Dental Colleges in the country. He told that this Chowki is an opportunity to seek the blessings of Goddess Durga which increases a sense of faith and feeling of service among the students and doctors.

Students as well as the faculty members participated in the program very enthusiastically.

The program ended with final offerings (aarti) to Goddess Durga followed by prasad to all the invitees.

This was followed by a sumptuous dinner for all faculty, staff members and students on the lawns of the college. The Dinner spread included traditional Indian snacks and savouries on one side and delicious festive food on the other. It was enjoyed by all present at the function.

I.T.S – The Education Group came in for well deserved high praise from all the guests for organizing this auspicious function.
