MBA Faculty Development Programme – ITS Engg. College Greater Noida
MBA Department, I.T.S. Engineering College organized a Faculty Development Programme on 13th December 2014. The Programme started at 10.30 am with the blessings of Maa Saraswati.
The faculty of MBA department participated and attended the programme. All faculty members presented their views on their chosen topics as per their specialization.
The Programme started with a presentation by Prof LK Verma. His topic was “Power of positive thinking-Our Happiness in Life”. He highlighted the fact that happiness is state of mind which is enhanced through positive thinking.
Mr. Ankur Srivastava, Faculty Finance, explained the concept of “Derivatives Marketing- Hedging or Speculation”. He explained the evolution of concept in India and its basics along with acceptability in todats trending market scenario.
Ms Himani Goswami, Faculty HR, spoke on “Attrition & Retention”. She gave an overview of reasons behind attrition while highlighting its positive and negative impacts on the organization. She also named a few prominent organizations with their retention strategies at various managerial levels.
Ms Anuja Shukla chose the trending topic of “Evolution in Consumer Decision Making Process with special reference to Social Media”. She spoke about how today’s generation uses social media to interact and network and how we can use this tool to effectively connect with students and enhance teaching and learning methodologies.
It was a good learning and educative experience for all of us where we could get an insight of other specialized fields.
