Mega Handicrafts fair IHGF 2022 set to open on 14th Oct, 7000+ foreign buyers expected
Delhi NCR – Greater Noida, 12th October 2022 – The 54th edition of one of the world’s largest handicrafts fairs i.e. IHGF-Delhi fair will be opened to overseas buyers, buying and sourcing consultants as well as large domestic volume retail buyers only on 14th October 2022 at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida. The five days B2B fair brings home, lifestyle, fashion, textiles and furniture products by 3000+ handicrafts exporters from across the country who are eager to showcase to the overseas buying community who now consider India as the only sourcing destination for handicraft items, informed Rakesh Kumar, Director General, EPCH & Chairman IEML.
He further informed that the IHGF-Delhi Fair Autumn 2022 is one of its kind of fair and this edition will have a wide-ranging selection of over 2000+ new products and more than 300 design expressions spanning across 14 product categories such as houseware, home furnishing, furniture, gifts and decoratives, lamps and lighting, Christmas & festive décor, fashion jewellery & accessories, spa & wellness, carpets and rugs, bathroom accessories, garden accessories, educational toys & games, handmade paper products & stationery and leather bags. The exhibition will have emphatic representation of craft manufacturing hubs and clusters, stationed in 16 halls in the Expo Centre and 900 permanent showrooms in the Mart area, making this a comprehensive sourcing point. Artisans from pan India will be stationed in thematic presentations will be among attraction for the visiting overseas buying community.

The Handicrafts exports during the year 2021-22 was Rs. 33253.00 Crores (US $ 4459.76 Million) registering a growth of 29.49% in rupee term & 28.90% in dollar terms over the previous year, informed by Mr. Rakesh Kumar, Director General, EPCH.
