Metro work split in 3 to meet deadline

Work on the 28km Metro link connecting Noida and Greater Noida will be carried out simultaneously in three different segments to help it meet the 2017 deadline.

According to officials of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation and Noida Authority, each segment will have a dedicated team.

The Noida Metro Rail Company will review the project this Wednesday. “The entire line has been divided into three segments and work on each will progress with same pace. Each line will have a dedicated team,” said NMRC executive director G P Singh. “This will help in proper monitoring of the project and meeting the deadline,” Singh added. There will be a healthy competition as the three teams will work on their respective segments simultaneously.
