Mild relief from fog in Delhi, rail and air traffic still in disarray.

The dense fog observed in Delhi on Thursday finally subsided on Friday morning. The capital woke up to shallow fog with visibility at 300 meters. No fog was observed in Dwarka, Faridabad, Model Town, and Noida Fortis area. Whereas only shallow fog engulfed the areas of Laxmi Nagar and Noida Expressway.

However, air traffic continued to take a beating due to widespread fog cover. Seven departure flights were cancelled while eight were delayed. In addition to this, eight arrival flights were cancelled with eight running behind schedule due to prevailing fog.
