Mongolian Delegation Explores Noida’s Urban Model for New City Blueprint | NOIDA Authority

Noida, April 12, 2025: A high-level Mongolian delegation visited Noida today to explore opportunities in urban development, smart infrastructure, and sustainable planning, aiming to draw inspiration for building a new city in Mongolia.

The delegation included Batsukh Saranchimeg, Former MP and Governor of the “Khushigtiin Khundii” Free Trade Economic Zone, and Batabayar Bolor, First Chair at the Mongolian Embassy. They were warmly received by Lokesh M, CEO of NOIDA Authority, and Sanjay Kumar Khatri, Additional CEO, at the Main Administrative Building in Sector-06.

Also present during the visit were senior officials including Mahendra Prasad, OSD; Vandana Tripathi, ACEO; Satish Pal, ACEO; Swatantra Kumar, Finance Controller; along with OSD Kranti Shekhar; Arvind Kumar Singh, General Manager; Meena Bhargava; R P Singh, AGM; Tejveer Singh; and Shobha Kushwaha.

The Mongolian team was given an in-depth overview of Noida’s urban transformation, focusing on smart city technologies, public amenities, and environmentally sustainable practices. A special emphasis was laid on how Noida has rapidly evolved into an IT and industrial hub through meticulous planning and efficient execution.

To offer a practical perspective, the delegates toured leading IT campuses in the city, including Microsoft Campus in Sector 16, NSL Techzone in Sector 144, and MAQ Software in Sector 145. These visits provided firsthand exposure to Noida’s infrastructure and business-friendly environment.

This strategic visit signals a promising start to international cooperation in the field of urban innovation, with Noida emerging as a global example for future cities.
