Nishad Party leader and Gorakhpur MP Praveen Nishad allies with BJP, ahead of Lok Sabha Elections 2019

New Delhi: (04/04/2019) The queue to join BJP just ahead of election seems to be getting longer by the day. Today Ananda Bhaskar Rapolu, INC leader joined BJP. Praveen Nishad, who had fought as SP candidate and won Gorakhpur seat in Bypoll also joined BJP.

Nishad Party will support BJP in Uttar Pradesh in upcoming Lok Sabha elections according to the sources.Praveen Nishad, whose father Sanjay Nishad is the head of the Nishad Party, had emerged victorious in the Gorakhpur by-poll last year.

Former Rajya Sabha MP Ananda Bhaskar Rapolu joined Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of Union Minister JP Nadda in Delhi. He had resigned from Congress party last month.

Speaking on the occasion, Nadda said, “Mr Rapolu, a former journalist, was one of the pioneers those had launched the Telengana statehood demand. He was elected to the Rajya Sabha as Congress leader in 2012 and served in the Upper House till 2018. Mr Rapolu belongs to OBC weaver community and his joining the saffron party is likely to boost party’s
prospects in the Warrangal district.”
