NMRC Aqua line to have own FM broadcast during journey, service to start soon

Greater Noida (29/1/2019) : Now the commuters of Aqua Line metro will able to enjoy FM service while commuting over this route. NMRC is going to start FM radio service at all 21 metro stations falling over the Aqua Line metro most probably by the first week of February.

Earlier this service has to be operational with the inauguration of this route but due to some reasons, it got delayed. For this service, NMRC has selected one of the very popular FM channel Radio City. Radio City will give its service for 16 hours a day from 6 AM till 10 PM. The channel will not only entertain the commuters but will also provide information about the history of the station, Information to its construction and officials involved in it, History of the city, Popular destination etc.

Apart from this, the channel will also broadcast information about metro operations, timings, arrival, departure etc. For keeping a balance between entertainment programs and information there will be a fixed time slot both. In the one-hour time slot, 40 minutes will be fixed for entertainment, Bollywood songs while rest of 20 minutes will for informative programs.

This whole system will be fully computerized and will have to be uploaded or at stations, for now, which is under process. This service will add one more positive point to metro services.
