NOIDA CHAIRMAN RAMA RAMAN HAS PUT GREATER NOIDA METRO RAIL PROJECT ON FAST TRACK MODE

All preliminary requirements and formalities to put the route on track are expected to be completed by next month. NMRC will also release Rs 115 crore to DMRC by January-end. DMRC has already initiated three tenders of Rs 600 crore each, for the construction of the route. Work on the link is expected to start by March 2015 and be completed by June 2017.

A Joint Committee  has been formed to expedite work on the 28km Noida-Greater Noida Metro Link. This follows a meeting between Delhi and Noida Metro Rail Corporations on Wednesday.
