Noida Haat set to host ‘Saras Ajeevika Mela’ again, featuring exquisite cuisines & handicraft items

Noida, (22/02/2022): Saras Ajeevika Mela, focusing on the theme of ‘Tourism, Tradition, Art and Culture’ is set to be held at Noida Haat from February 25.

At the Haat, people will enjoy famous cuisine and exquisite handloom and handicraft items from across the country.

The fair is taking place for the second time in Noida with a captivating atmosphere theme. It is being organized by the Union Ministry of Rural Development and National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (NIRDPR). Saras Aajeevika Mela 2022 will mainly showcase the craftsmanship of rural India. In this festival, more than 300 women craftsmen will take part and more than 60 cultural programs will be organized.

Thousands of products from more than 25 states across the country will be displayed and sold during the Saras Aajeevika Mela. This is a campaign started by the Ministry of Rural Development so that handicraftsmen can resume their trade once again after COVID-19. Along with this, the campaign started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi “Vocal for Local” will get a boost through this fair.
