Noida International Airport foundation to be laid before Diwali, First phase within three years
Noida International Airport is all set to see the light of day and its first phase will be completed within three years from the day the work starts. Government is planning to lay down the foundation stone before this Diwali and both the state and central government wants to complete the work as soon as possible. During the foundation stone ceremony of the Noida International Airport both PM and CM are expected be present there.
As per the Technical Economic Feasibility Report of the Jewar Airport, it will take about 36 months to complete it after laying foundation stone. For making the air transportation more feasible and affordable and providing connectivity to more and more city with Air transport state government is working with central public aviation ministry in the leader ship of Minister Suresh Prabhu . As per the part of regional technical scheme 11 new airports will be developed in the state.
In the next fifteen month Aligarh, Moradabad, Sonbhadra , Bareilliy , Allahabad , Jhansi, Azamgarh, Chitrakoot and Shrawasti will have the air connectivity. Lucknow airport will also have a new terminal which will cost 19 thousand crore from land acquisition to construction. State public aviation minister has been asked to provide better air services to the public number of new airports are being developed.
