Dr. Rakesh Kumar said that India Exposition Mart and the entire export fraternity are delighted with the commencement of commercial flights.
He emphasized that the airport will improve accessibility for international buyers, exhibitors and investors who visit Greater Noida for world-renowned exhibitions and trade fairs. Until now, overseas visitors had to travel from Delhi Airport, but the proximity of Noida International Airport will significantly reduce travel time and improve convenience.
Major Boost for Handicrafts and MSMEs
The airport will benefit numerous industrial and handicraft clusters located within two to three hours of Jewar, including Agra, Moradabad, Bulandshahr, Saharanpur, Farrukhabad and Firozabad. Improved connectivity will help exporters, artisans, MSMEs and manufacturers reach global markets more efficiently while attracting new investments into the region.
India Expo Mart to Witness Higher Global Participation
Dr. Rakesh Kumar highlighted that India Exposition Mart hosts internationally acclaimed exhibitions such as the ILGF Delhi Fair, attracting buyers from nearly 180 countries. Logistics and Industrial Development to Accelerate
The airport, combined with expressways, highways, industrial parks and upcoming logistics parks, will create one of India’s most integrated business ecosystems. Dr. Rakesh Kumar noted that YEIDA (Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority) is actively developing industrial infrastructure and manufacturing hubs, while the upcoming Logistics Park will improve supply chain efficiency and global competitiveness.
