Noida, 20th October, 2022: Following the heart wrenching incident of a dog bite killing in Noida on Monday evening, residents of a housing society in Noida’s sector 100 took out a candle protest march from an apartment building on Wednesday night.

In Noida’s Lotus Boulevard society, a stray dog mauled an infant to death, leaving everyone in shock.

According to Gautam Budh Nagar Police, the child was rushed to a hospital and died during treatment at night.

The next day, residents of the housing society protested and blocked roads and were outraged that the authorities had failed to provide shelters for stray dogs.

According to a Special Duty Officer with the Noida Authority, Indu Pradesh, the civic body intends to construct four shelter homes for street dogs.

However, residents of the housing society are unsatisfied with the authority’s actions and continue their protest.
