With almost 50% of the work on the under-construction 3.9-km link between Kalindi Kunj in Delhi and Noida Botanic Garden Metro station in Noida complete, the Authorities are now getting ready to put a traffic diversion in place. This decision was taken on Wednesday at a review meeting held to assess the progress of two Metro tracks—Sector 32 to sector 62 and Kalindi Kunj to Botanic Garden—in Noida.

According to officials, the meeting was convened by P.K. Agarwal, Additional CEO, Noida. “It was a routine review meeting to check the progress of the two tracks,” Agarwal said. “We also discussed the need to put into place a traffic diversion plan at the mouth of the Noida-Greater Noida expressway. This has to be done as Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) will soon put into place girders for the viaduct for the Kalindi Kunj to Botanic Garden Metro track,” he said.
