Now, Strict action if drivers halt buses on Expressway to onboard passengers

Greater Noida (5/5/2019): Bus drivers commuting over Noida- Gr Noida Expressway and Yamuna Expressway have to face consequences if they violate the guidelines mentioned on their permits. It’s been seen that drivers and conductors allow passengers to onboard the bus in middle on the expressway which is very dangerous and increase the accidents.

So taking concern of that in a meeting held on Saturday chaired by SP city Sudha Singh, city magistrate Shailendra Kumar Mishra made this announcement of action against drivers. He said, “this kind of irresponsible behaviour by bus drivers not only risking the life of passengers sitting in the bus but also troubling other vehicles commuting on the freeway.”

He ordered ARTO officials and ARM to keep an eye on Mahamaya Flyover and Noida Gr Noida E -way through the CCTV installed on the route. He asked officials to keep alertness during night hours also.

Apart from this long route passengers were also advised to check their bus route and stoppage before getting boarded in bus and to inform police in they find drivers and conductors violating the rules.
