On Kargil Vijay Diwas, Galgotias University students, 38th UP NCC Battalion participate in tree plantation drive

During the ten-day annual training camp organized by the 38th UP Battalion NCC Hapur at Galgotias Engineering and Technology campus, Colonel Suresh Bhaik, the camp commandant, motivated the cadets on the occasion of Kargil Vijay Diwas. He imparted important information related to patriotism, discipline, education and also shared his experiences during the Kargil war with the cadets. He emphasized that the nation is above all.

On this occasion, Mohit Gaharwar, Principal of Galgotias University’s Polytechnic wing, welcomed Camp Commandant Colonel Suresh Bhaik by presenting him with memento. Sweets were also distributed to all the cadets, extending best wishes for Kargil Vijay Diwas.

Poet Bhagwat Prasad Sharma paid homage to the brave martyrs of Kargil War through his poem “Watan Ke Rakwalon Ko Salaam” (Salute to the Guardians of the Nation).

Sunil Galgotia, the Chancellor of Galgotias University, extended his heartfelt greetings to everyone on Kargil Vijay Diwas and paid his respectful homage to the brave soldiers. He stated that the entire nation is saluting those brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives for our country.

Dhruv Galgotia, the CEO of the university, while remembering the guardians of the nation, mentioned that Kargil Vijay Diwas is not just a day of remembrance, it is a day to promote national unity and harmony. Today, the entire country is proud of its brave soldiers.

During the daily routine of the camp, the cadets were provided with training for using firearms, their cleaning, map reading, obstacle training, group discussion, fire service, drill, and information about armed forces. Resaldar Major Narayan Singh, A.N.O. Karma Veer Singh, A.N.O. Vidyanadis, Chief Officer Sanjay Agrawal, A.N.O. Sanjay Kumar, and P.I. Staff were also present during the celebrations.
