Piyush Goyal vows continued good governance on Moody ‘s rating cheer

Union Minister Piyush Goyal on Friday said the upgrade in Moody’s sovereign rating for India to Baa2 was the result of the BJP’s good governance, crediting both Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley for the achievement. Goyal said the measures like the Goods and Services Tax (GST), and demonetisation when put together have proven to be a leap towards good governance, and welfare of the people of India.
He Further said, “The number BJP-supported government went up from six in 2014, to 18 today. “By next month they will be 19. and we are fast transitioning to a corruption free and Congress free India in the years to come,” he said. Goyal said the election results in Himachal Pradesh and Gujarat will be phenomenal”.
