PM Modi announces 15-Member Trust for Ram Temple in Ayodhya; 5 acres allotted for Masjid

New Delhi (05/02/2020): Prime Minister Narendra Modi made a big announcement regarding the construction of Ram temple in Ayodhya. PM Modi said in the Lok Sabha that in the meeting of the Union Cabinet held on Wednesday, it has been decided to constitute Ram Mandir Trust.

PM said, ‘My government has prepared a big plan as per the Supreme Court directive. According to the order of the Supreme Court, Ram Mandir Trust has been formed, which is named Sri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra. This trust will be free to take decisions related to the construction of the grand and divine Ram temple in Ayodhya.’

After this announcement by PM Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah said that the trust will have a total of 15 members, including one Dalit. (See video of PM Modi’s speech below)

Also, the PM said that the state government has agreed to give 5 acres of land in Ayodhya for construction of the mosque. As soon as PM announced this, the Parliament House echoed with the slogan of Jayshree Ram. The trust will have a total of 15 members, including 1 Dalit.

PM said, ‘On November 9, 2019, I was in Kartarpur for the inauguration of Kartarpur’s Gurunanak Devji’s 550th Prakash Parv, at a very holy atmosphere. I came back to know the whole decision and saw how the whole country has welcomed this decision.’
