PM Modi Launches 8th Vande Bharat Express in Telangana

Telangana (India), 15th Jan 2023: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today inaugurated the 8th Vande Bharat Express, India’s semi-high-speed passenger train service, in Telangana.

The train, which will is the first of its kind in Telangana and the second in South India, will run between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam, covering a distance of 699 kilometers in 8 hours and 30 minutes.

The train will operate six days a week, except for Sundays, and will make stops at four railway stations during the journey. The train is equipped with the latest technology and enhanced comforts for passengers. The train consists of 14 AC chair car coaches and two executive AC chair car coaches with a capacity of 1,128 passengers. Passengers are required to have confirmed tickets to board the train.

The train features reclining seats in all classes and rotating seats in Executive AC Chair Car coaches, providing a comfortable and safe journey for all passengers. The launch of this ultra-modern, semi-high-speed train is set to revolutionize the travel experience for passengers in the region.
