New Delhi, 03rd June 2023: PM Modi is all set to visit Odisha on Saturday hours after a tragic triple train crash killed 238 people, claim sources.
Currently many hundred wounded passengers are admitted to the hospital in the state.
He has also reportedly called for a high-level meeting with the railway officials to review the situation in the train crash site.
He will visit the accident site, go to the hospital where the victims are admitted, and then hold meetings and consultations with the state-level officials to investigate the matter.
This comes as the government confirmed the official death toll was 280. Around 900 passengers were taken to hospitals with small to severe injuries. More than 45 trains running along the route have been cancelled and several others diverted after rescue operations are still going on
