Gujarat (01/11/2022): On Monday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited the Morbi bridge collapse site wherein multiple people lost their lives in a tragic incident. PM Modi, accompanied by Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel, visited the incident site to take stock of the situation.
Search and rescue operations are still underway. He also met the personnel involved in rescue and relief operations.
Following his visit to the site of incident, he also traveled to the Civil Hospital in Morbi. People injured at the collapse site are currently undergoing treatment at the hospital.
The Prime Minister is also expected to meet up with 26 family members of the victims who lost their lives in the tragic collapse.
