Power outages affect traffic signals

Outages affected the functioning of traffic signals across the capital with over 40 complaints of faults in signals. Traffic police said three teams have been formed to immediately repair a signal in case of a power cut. Officials say that after every snag the signal timings have to be reset manually and personnel have to be deployed to clear the jam. Maximum complaints of faults in signals were reported from southwest, west and east Delhi.
