PRESIDENT ACCEPTS RESIGNATION OF GOVERNOR OF UTTAR PRADESH

The President has accepted the resignation of Shri B.L. Joshi as Governor of Uttar Pradesh and has appointed Dr. Aziz Qureshi, Governor of Uttarakhand, to discharge the functions of the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, in addition to his own duties, until regular arrangements for the office of the Governor of Uttar Pradesh are made.
