PRESIDENT OF INDIA’S MESSAGE ON THE OCCASION OF INDEPENDENCE DAY OF MALDIVES

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of Maldives on the occasion of the Independence Day of Maldives ( July 26, 2014). 

In his message to the President of the Republic of Maldives, His Excellency Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom, the President has said, “It is my pleasure to convey to Your Excellency and the people of the Republic of Maldives warm greetings and felicitations on the occasion of your Independence Day. 

Our countries enjoy close and cordial relations based on mutual trust and cooperation. I am confident that this relationship will continue to expand and strengthen further in the coming years.
