PRESIDENT OF INDIA’S MESSAGE ON THE OCCASION OF NATIONAL DAY OF FRANCE

The President of India, Shri Pranab Mukherjee has extended his greetings and felicitations to the Government and people of the Republic of France on the occasion of the National Day of France ( July 14, 2014).

In his message to President of the Republic of France, His Excellency Mr. Francois Hollande, the President has said, “On the occasion of the National Day of France, I wish to extend to you, the Government and the people of France, warm greetings and felicitations.

The strategic partnership between India and France is based on the pillars of expanding cooperation in the vital areas of defence, civil nuclear power, space and security. Your successful visit to India in February last year provided a new momentum to this partnership. I am confident that our fruitful collaboration will continue to grow from strength to strength in the years ahead for the mutual benefit of our two countries and peoples.

Please accept, Excellency, the assurances of my highest consideration and my best wishes for your health and personal well-being, as well as for the continued progress and prosperity of the friendly people of France”.
