Principals and HM’s of DPS participated in Induction Programme by HRDC

Greater Noida: A delegation of 27 Principals and HMs of various Delhi Public Schools visited DPS, Greater Noida on 25th April 2019, as a part of the Induction Programme conducted by HRDC, The DPS Society under the able guidance of Vinita Kher, Director, HRDC, The DPS Society.
The delegates were taken on a round of the school where they observed the children in their classes. They also appreciated the well-equipped labs and library and soaked in the cheerful ambience of the Junior Wing.
The programme was divided into six sessions which included exposure to cultural activities / co-scholastic activities; steps undertaken to achieve excellence in the Upper Elementary classes; Examinations; managing Secondary and Senior Secondary classes; School Transport Management; safety concerns; handling emergencies and Relationship Building with teachers, students, parents and the community.
On this occasion, the delegates also gave individual presentations about their own schools.
Winding up the sessions, Vineeta Kher, Director, HRDC, thanked the Principal, Renu Chaturvedi, profusely for having organised meaningful sessions on key departments and for hosting the delegates with such warmth. She also exhorted the delegates to look upon a school, not as just a structure but also a confluence of living beings who have to be nurtured with care
