The “Five-day Workshop on Outcome-Based Education” organized by Galgotias University and NITTTR Chennai (Ministry of Education, Government of India) concluded today. Approximately 90 participants took part in this workshop. The primary objective of this workshop was to train participants in pedagogy while focusing on outcome-based education to enable students to attain holistic learning. This would enhance the quality of vocational education.

Dr. E.S.M. Suresh, the main speaker from the National Institute of Technical Teacher Training and Research (Ministry of Education, Government of India), discussed the importance of quality education and emphasized the significance of NAAC, NBA, and NABL. Dr. Janardan provided insights into new educational technology and its tools and highlighted methods to improve skill levels.

He also discussed character building among students. Dr. Shanmuga Nidhi and Dr. Dinesh Kumar shared crucial information related to various subjects through their lectures. They spoke about the need for exam reforms and encouraged students not to fear exams but to approach them with patience and caution, just as our honorable Prime Minister advised recently.

Vice-Chancellor K. Mallikarjun Babu of Galgotias University urged all participants to implement what they have learned during the workshop with dedication and diligence. He added Such workshops are crucial for learning and enhancing our skill levels, and there will be more such events in the future.

Pro Vice-Chancellor Avdhesh Kumar stressed the importance of using technological tools in education and following the new National Education Policy to provide quality education with a focus on outcome-based learning. This way, students can find suitable employment according to their capabilities after completing any professional course.

Chief Executive Officer Dhruv Galgotia of Galgotias University highlighted the significance of this workshop, which aims to train participants in pedagogy to improve the quality of vocational education. He congratulated all the teachers for the successful organization of the program.
