Rajasthan’s Nandini Gupta becomes Femina Miss India 2023

New Delhi (India), 16th April 2023: In a lavish ceremony conducted Saturday night, Rajasthani teen Nandini Gupta, 19, was named Femina Miss India 2023. First and second runners-up were revealed to be Thounaojam Strela Luwang from Manipur and Shreya Poonja from Delhi.

Miss India Organisation took to Instagram to congratulate the winners, they shared an image of the three girls and their caption wrote, “All of these ladies have a powerful voice and we’re sure that they’re going to use this platform to further all the important causes that they believe in. We’ve seen the passion with which they’ve worked for these positions and must say that there’s no one more deserving! Congratulations, ladies- it’s time to celebrate.”

Nandini is from Kota in Rajasthan and will now represent India at the 71st Miss World competition in the United Arab Emirates. According to the official website, she was motivated to seek a degree in business management by her experience in planning and managing several extracurricular activities and events.

The Miss India website says that Nandini, “believes that rejections play a crucial role in defining who one is as an individual. So she is determined to face all the challenges, failures, and rejections that may come her way as she embarks on the journey of a lifetime.”

Further the website says that Ratan Tata is the most influential person in her life and Priyanka Chopra is an actress that inspires her deeply.

She described her native Rajasthan as being special due to its history, culture, traditions, and the delicacy of its people’s voices. “India spreads the Atithu Devo Bhavah message, and we Rajasthanis welcome them by Padharo Mhare Desh,” Nandini stated.
