Ramzan marked by all-religion talk and sumptuous Iftar dinner at BIMTECH, Greater Noida!

Greater Noida (30/05/2019) : To mark the auspicious month of Ramadan, Symposium and Iftar Dinner on the theme of “We are One” was hosted by Indialouge Foundation, Sarva Dharma Samvaad, and BIMTECH at the premises of BIMTECH Greater Noida.

Considering the spirit of Ramada, which exemplifies empathy, solidarity, and compassion, a talk was organized in which representative of different religion and renowned scholar presented their views on interfaith during the symposium.

The talk sessions begun with the inaugural address by Greater Noida’s renowned industry leader Aditya Ghidiyal, in which he welcomed and introduced the eminent guests and detailed about the theme of the Symposium.

Dr Harivansh Chaturvedi, Director BIMTECH chaired the second session of the symposium and said “I felt very glad after receiving this idea of symposium cum Iftar Dinner. Our Birla family shares deep roots with Mahatma Gandhi who also believed in nonviolence and in respect of every religion. Ramadan is a great occasion for people of different faith backgrounds to come together to give a message of hope, love, and unity.”

Renowned journalist Qamar Agha talked about the resettlement of Kashmiri pundits and warned mixing religion with politics can have very dangerous consequences.

“It is very dangerous we have seen its outcomes in Europe now the same thing is happening in Islamic countries.” he said while adding that if you want to destroy a religion bringing extremists to it can get it done.

Sarva Dharma Samvaad Chairperson Manu Singh said “the Core spiritual energy which is throbbing inside the entire world population is common and there we all are one. We also need to celebrate the difference.”
The program was followed with a sumptuous meal of Iftar dinner.
