Residents of Apex Athena protest against builder alleging safety negligence

Noida: On January 5th, residents of Apex Athena society under sector 75 conducted a protest against the builder over a major fire incident happened in the society. The residents alleged the builder Apex Dream Homes of doing negligence in fulfilling the safety norms and for not providing fire safety tools.

As per the residents their protest is to highlight major fire broke out in B1402 on 3rd Jan 2020 because of the negligence as the society is lacking proper safety measures. Around 200 residents with posters and play card in their hands went in the sector roods and raised slogans against the builder and demanded action.

Residents alleged that “The society didn’t fullfill any safety standards but instead of that it got the NOC. JLL is looking after the maintenance of society which is completely fail. Smoke detector, fire alarm, water sprinklers nothing is in working mode. Even the main electric supply is kept on manual mode. There are so many safety concerns in the society and life of thousand of residents are at risk.”

Residents also had registered a complaint against the builder in the nearest police station and also with the fire department but still no action is been taken yet.
