Rishank Devadiga to lead UP Yoddha in sixth season of the Pro Kabaddi League

For the upcoming sixth season of the awaiting Pro Kabaddi League, UP Yoddha announced Rishank Devadiga as captain of their team at the launch ceremony which took place at hotel Crown Plaza in Greater Noida. The event was graced by Chetan Chauhan Minister for Youth and sports, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
Giving a good news for the Gautam Budh Nagar and specially for the Kabddi fans, Pro Kabaddi UP franchise announced Greater Noida situated Saheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex as the home ground for the this season. The matches will be held between 2nd to 8th November. Tag line of the team for this year will be ‘Saans Rok , Seena Thok’ which itself is incorporating the every aspect of the Kabddi. Apart from this the event also saw launch of team Jersey.
Speaking at the event Chetan Chauhan said that “last year over my request GMR had organized the pro Kabbadi League in Lucknow and our CM had inaugurated the event. Once again I would like wish UP Yoddha for their upcoming league and hope they will again perform well as they had performed in earlier season.”
Adding to his statement he said “corporate world should have to come forward and take such imitative for enhancing the sports facility in country as a government we had certain limitations. GMR has done great job and I like to congratulate them for their work. “ Jasvir singh and Arjun singh will coach the team this season. While the experienced and successful raider Rishank Devadiga will be leading the 19 member squad of UP Yoddha. Speaking to ten news coach Arjun sing told that “we are working on every aspect in a systemic manner and boys are getting their lesson well. As this year Saheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex will be our home ground we will start our preparations there.”
