Sector 58 SHO removed for laxity during Kanavni violence

 UP Police on Sunday removed the Sector 58 police station SHO, Surendra Kumar, from his post on charges of dereliction of duty after violent clashes broke out between two communities in Kanavni area of Noida last month.

The decision to remove Kumar was based on a report on the incident, with both police and district administration seeking his removal. A new SHO, Charan Singh Sharma, has been appointed.
